Regional Coordinator

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Regional Coordinator to support the Helios+ project, which promotes the integration of third‑country nationals into the labour market of the South Aegean region. Based in Rhodes, the coordinator will work closely with national and local authorities, partners and beneficiaries to deliver employability, language, training and social cohesion activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project activities, including Greek language courses, vocational training, rental subsidies and social inclusion events.
• Maintain regular communication with national and local authorities, partners and beneficiaries to ensure smooth implementation.
• Support beneficiaries of international and temporary protection in accessing employment and independent living opportunities.
• Prepare reports, track progress against targets and contribute to project documentation.
• Assist the Senior Project Coordinator and National Project Officer in administrative and logistical tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least five years relevant experience, or a university degree in political science, international relations, social work, law, sociology, management, public administration or a related field with minimum three years experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum three years of professional experience, preferably in a multicultural or humanitarian setting.
• Fluency in English and Greek (written and oral).
• Valid driver’s licence with driving experience is an advantage.

• Computer literacy in standard software applications.
• Strong work ethics and commitment to humanitarian principles.
