Project Manager – Digital Transformation

About the role

EPAM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the digital transformation program for a major Greek bank. The role will be based in Athens and offers a hybrid work model, requiring at least two days per week on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the on‑site communicator and coordinator across multiple development teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Oversee planning, commitment, and delivery of the current project scope in partnership with the team.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to maintain steady progress.
• Engage with customer stakeholders to align on team‑level requirements.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in the software development lifecycle and clarify team roles.
• Coordinate product teams to ensure smooth delivery of technical solutions.
• Ensure alignment between delivery and migration teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
• Proven experience with fixed‑price projects (a plus).
• Ability to manage relationships with Director‑level stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Fluent in Greek and proficient in English (B2+).
• Willingness to travel to the client’s office in Athens.
