Manual QA Engineer

About the role

HFM, an internationally recognised multi‑asset broker, is looking for a motivated Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality of its web and mobile trading platforms. You will work closely with developers and product owners to validate functionality and maintain high testing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and define test acceptance criteria.
• Design, maintain and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Document and report defects clearly and track their resolution.
• Verify that software meets both functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Contribute to the improvement of manual testing processes and standards.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, testing methodologies and best practices.
• Participate in the team’s on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of experience in manual testing, preferably on web and mobile applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate defect reporting.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience writing and maintaining test cases and test plans.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Eligibility to work in the country where the position is based.
