Key Account Manager (Marcas)

About the role

The Key Account Manager (Marcas) will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with V.Group’s most important maritime clients. Based in Piraeus, you will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring client satisfaction while driving revenue growth through upselling and cross‑selling of V.Group services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Identify and pursue upselling and cross‑selling opportunities for Marcas and V.Group services.
• Coordinate client‑related projects across multiple departments to ensure smooth delivery.
• Resolve client issues promptly and monitor service quality on board.
• Create and execute account plans to maximise revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with business development, service excellence and other teams to align strategies with company goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience in key account management, business development or sales, preferably in shipping or related industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Results‑oriented mindset with focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.
