Fleet Medical Advisor

About the role

Health4Crew is expanding its doctor‑led telemedicine service for seafarers worldwide. We are seeking a licensed physician to join our clinical team as a Fleet Medical Advisor, providing medical oversight, second‑opinion reviews, and guidance to seafarers and shipping companies.

Key responsibilities

• Review pre‑employment medical examination (PEME) results uploaded to the platform and flag any documentation issues.
• Provide expert second opinions on discrepancies or concerns raised in medical reports.
• Answer medical‑related calls and emails from seafarers and shipping companies during scheduled on‑call rotations.
• Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and in‑house clinical team on trends, insights, and medical awareness materials.
• Stay up‑to‑date with maritime medicine best practices.

Required profile

• Licensed physician (MD) in good standing; general practitioners are especially encouraged.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; ability to explain medical information to non‑medical audiences.
• Strong attention to detail, independent work style, and accurate documentation.
• Comfortable using digital tools for remote consultation and documentation.

Required skills

• Telemedicine or remote consultation experience.
• Experience in occupational or maritime medicine (preferred).
