Financial Controller (Remote)

About the role

Omilia, a global leader in conversational AI, is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of its worldwide financial records. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will drive the close, consolidation, and IFRS compliance for a fast‑growing AI platform supporting over 350 employees across Europe and North America.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for all entities, ensuring accurate IFRS consolidation.
• Own revenue recognition under IFRS 15 for complex SaaS and professional services contracts.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors and manage audit relationships.
• Oversee a distributed accounting team handling AP, expenses, payroll and NetSuite administration.

Required profile

• 7+ years of accounting experience, including 2–3 years in a Controller or equivalent leadership role within a growth‑stage enterprise software company.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with deep IFRS expertise, especially multi‑currency consolidation and IFRS 15.
• Proven ability to lead remote, distributed teams across multiple European time zones.
