Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will ensure strong operational discipline across financial processes and provide high‑quality financial information and analysis to support management decisions. The role works closely with the Finance & Accounting team and external partners to maintain compliance, accurate reporting, and efficient execution of financial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse management reports, including P&L, cash flow and KPIs.
• Analyse variances versus budget, forecast and prior periods and deliver actionable insights.
• Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting and monitor budget execution.
• Coordinate monthly closing, review balance‑sheet items, accruals and provisions.
• Ensure financial information complies with IFRS and Greek GAAP.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity and working‑capital, supporting treasury activities.
• Support statutory, tax and regulatory reporting and assist in internal and external audits.
• Identify cost‑saving initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; postgraduate degree (MSc or MBA) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling or similar finance roles.
