Assistant Manager – Assurance Advisory

About the role

Join EY Greece as an Assistant Manager in Assurance Advisory, working across financial accounting advisory, governance and assurance for large corporates and public‑sector entities. You will operate at the intersection of the CFO agenda, delivering technical accounting advice, audit, risk and forensic services while leveraging advanced technology and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting and IFRS implementation advice, GAAP conversion and financial‑statement preparation.
• Lead reporting‑process improvement and finance‑transformation projects.
• Plan, execute and report on internal‑audit engagements, risk‑based audit plans and process reviews.
• Deliver corporate‑governance assurance, enterprise‑risk reviews and ISAE engagements (e.g., ISAE 3000, ISAE 3402).
• Conduct compliance, integrity assessments, fraud investigations and regulatory dispute support.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues and apply technology tools and AI solutions to identify risks.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in financial accounting/reporting, external or internal audit, or governance/risk.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of accounting logic, IFRS research and internal‑control frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
• Results‑oriented with high attention to quality and a willingness to learn.
