East Europe EHS Senior Manager

About the role

Lead PepsiCo’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) strategy across East Europe and the Balkans, covering 12 manufacturing sites and more than 5,000 employees. You will drive a safety‑first mindset, embed sustainability principles, and influence regional investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and align regional EHS strategy with global standards and local legislation.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape EHS priorities and drive cultural change.
• Inspire and manage a team of EHS managers across multiple countries.
• Introduce innovative safety technologies, environmental systems, and sustainability practices.
• Ensure compliance with PepsiCo’s global standards and local regulations.
• Travel frequently (~40%) to support sites and monitor performance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of leadership experience in FMCG, food & beverage, or large‑scale manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong influencing and stakeholder‑management skills in a matrix environment.
• Proven track record of driving culture change and EHS ownership.
• Fluent English; additional Eastern European language is a plus.
