Senior Technical Buyer

About the role

The Senior Technical Buyer will support a global energy and industrial innovation company by managing supplier relationships, securing optimal pricing and terms, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct supplier benchmarking to support strategic decisions.
• Secure optimal pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate quotes, cost breakdowns, and market trends.
• Maintain accurate pricing and contract data for purchasing.
• Track spend and key metrics such as savings, DPOs, lead times, and evaluations.
• Process procurement documents in line with internal policies.
• Draft and finalize legally compliant supplier agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve pricing, delivery, or quality issues.
• Coordinate with R&D, Product Management, and Operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Fluency in Greek and English (both verbal and written) is mandatory.
• German language skills are considered an asset.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP system) experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
