Director, Technical Innovation

About the role

The Director, Technical Innovation leads end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale category innovation programmes across multiple European markets. The role translates strategic innovation priorities into scalable road‑maps, ensuring market‑ready launches that drive growth, efficiency and system leverage.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution and cross‑market deployment of assigned category innovation programmes, from concept through commercial launch.
• Coordinate technical execution with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Regulatory, Finance and bottling partners.
• Own stage‑gate governance, risk management and inter‑dependency tracking to maintain quality, cost, safety and brand integrity.
• Provide structured reporting on progress, risks and value delivery, and contribute insights for portfolio prioritisation.
• Support markets during launch preparation and post‑launch scaling, delivering clear execution frameworks and readiness criteria.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of experience delivering large‑scale, multi‑market innovation initiatives in innovation, commercialisation, supply chain, R&D or category leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business administration or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex cross‑functional dependencies within governance frameworks.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % of the time.
