DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure & Security

About the role

MSTAT is looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to ensure the reliability, security and scalability of its infrastructure and deployment environments. You will work across Linux server administration, networking, monitoring and automation to keep the platform performant and resilient.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure new IT resources such as Linux servers, virtual machines and networking components.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
• Monitor server performance, utilization and system resources, and respond to alerts.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, cloud resources and connectivity to clients or partners.
• Administer servers, storage systems, network devices and related hardware.
• Support security monitoring, log analysis, incident response and vulnerability remediation.
• Handle user credentials, access permissions and authentication for internal services.
• Assist with employee onboarding/offboarding, equipment setup and access provisioning.
• Resolve infrastructure requests via the internal ticketing system and manage license renewals.
• Contribute to documentation, automation scripts, configuration management and version control practices.
• Support disaster recovery planning, business continuity and platform resilience initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (MSc a plus).
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Team player with good collaboration skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
