Costing Engineer – Commercial Department

About the role

FARAD S.A. is looking for a Costing Engineer to join its Commercial Department. The role focuses on preparing, costing and managing technical and commercial offers, using the company’s ERP and CRM systems to ensure accurate and competitive quotations. You will translate customer requirements into structured proposals and support the offer lifecycle from initial demand to final submission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage incoming customer demand through the CRM system, ensuring timely follow‑up and pipeline management.
• Prepare, develop and maintain cost calculations and commercial offers using the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Design, Technical and R&D teams to translate requirements into accurate technical and financial proposals.
• Ensure pricing consistency and data accuracy within ERP workflows.
• Submit complete quotations to customers and suppliers, monitoring status and updating offers throughout their lifecycle.
• Support after‑sales processes and contribute to continuous improvement of costing and quotation procedures.
• Maintain high‑quality communication with customers during offer and project phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production & Management, or Materials Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in costing and preparing technical/commercial offers.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and commercial teams, suppliers and customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Ability to read and interpret 3D AutoCAD drawings.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
