Procurement & Purchasing Senior Officer

About the role

Our Procurement & Purchasing department is expanding and seeks a dynamic professional to lead the Indirect Categories. The Senior Officer will drive category strategy, manage supplier relationships and ensure timely supply across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and category strategy, including tenders, negotiations and contracts.
• Maintain supplier relationships, performance reviews, development, innovation and capacity planning.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives and evaluate alternative suppliers and new business opportunities.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end purchasing process and collaborate with production, planning, R&D, QA and other internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and resolve delivery issues, delays and supply deviations.
• Lead continuous improvement projects, monitor contracts, price lists, renewals and key procurement KPIs.
• Maintain the Approved Supplier List and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably in pharma, chemical or FMCG manufacturing.
• Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
• Experience with ARIBA or similar e‑procurement platforms and e‑auctions/RFQ processes.
• Understanding of manufacturing procurement processes and supplier risk management.
