Senior Mechanical Design & Stress Analysis Engineer

About the role

FARAD is seeking a motivated, high‑energy Mechanical Engineer to provide design engineering support for its heat‑exchanger and pressure‑vessel product line, ensuring functionality of existing and newly developed products.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical design calculations and stress‑analysis projects and assist with product certification procedures.
• Lead product development on multiple projects as a member of the technical department.
• Support design teams in applying new mechanical design technologies throughout the development cycle.
• Assist pre‑sales activities as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Mechanical Design or Stress Analysis Engineer on pressure‑vessel projects.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, detail‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with limited supervision.

Required skills

• Mechanical design and stress‑analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of pressure‑vessel codes such as EN‑13445 and ASME BPVC.
• Experience with PV‑Elite or Sant Ambrogio (NextGen) design software.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and FEM/FEA analysis.
