Business Development Manager – Electronic Warfare

About the role

The Business Development Manager (EW) will drive growth within the Electronic Warfare market for EFA GROUP, a multinational aerospace and defense ecosystem. You will shape opportunities, build customer relationships, and lead capture efforts to secure contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the Electronic Warfare sector.
• Monitor defence procurement programmes and EW modernisation initiatives.
• Analyse competitor activities and market trends.
• Build relationships with military end‑users, procurement agencies and prime contractors.
• Gather customer requirements and promote EW products and solutions.
• Lead capture processes from opportunity identification through contract award, developing win strategies and account plans.
• Coordinate proposals with engineering, finance and program teams.
• Establish strategic partnerships and support industrial cooperation initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in defence business development.
• Strong knowledge of Electronic Warfare, C4ISR, SIGINT and Radar technologies.
• Understanding of NATO and international defence procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally, spending over 65 % of time on the road.
