Business Analyst – Banking & Technology

About the role

As a Business Analyst – Banking & Technology you will act as the bridge between business needs and technology solutions, supporting the delivery of advanced banking systems. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders and IT teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements for complex banking technology initiatives.
• Produce and maintain deliverables such as Business Requirement Documents, functional specifications, process flows, user stories and gap analyses.
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders across Product, Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Technology.
• Work closely with IT architects, development teams and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
• Support testing cycles, including test case review, UAT coordination and quality assurance activities.
• Contribute to change management and user enablement through training materials and workshops.
• Monitor project milestones, identify risks or dependencies and provide structured progress updates.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and help define target operating models and customer journeys.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking, financial services or technology consulting.
• Good knowledge of at least one area: core banking systems, digital banking channels, or workflow/automation platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and solution design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
