Junior Cloud & DevOps Engineer

About the role

Join EY's Technology Consulting practice as a Junior Cloud / DevOps Engineer, supporting large corporate clients across industries. You will work alongside experienced engineers to design, build and operate modern cloud foundations and delivery pipelines, primarily on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and automate cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
• Support CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Assist with containerized application deployments on Kubernetes platforms.
• Contribute to DevOps practices and integrate automated checks into pipelines.
• Help improve reliability through basic observability (metrics, logs, dashboards).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience, including internships or project work.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and core cloud concepts.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes fundamentals.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep or Ansible.
• Scripting/automation skills using PowerShell or Bash (Python a plus).
• Strong collaboration, ownership mindset and eagerness to learn.
