AI/ML Science Manager

About the role

Join Accenture's Data & AI practice as an AI/ML Science Manager. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to design, build, and operationalize cutting‑edge AI and machine‑learning solutions for global clients across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a technical team of 5‑8 members, guiding the exploration and implementation of new data methodologies, model‑building techniques, and advanced algorithms.
• Stay at the forefront of AI foundation models, applying them to novel business problems and use cases.
• Demonstrate and justify the business value of innovative AI or traditional ML approaches through clear methodologies.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore stakeholders—including business owners, engineers, architects, and UI designers—to achieve end‑to‑end project goals.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field from a recognized university.
• 5+ years of proven experience in AI/ML, with a track record of leading teams of 5‑8 people.
• Strong theoretical and hands‑on expertise in deep learning, neural networks, foundation models, NLP, and/or computer vision.
• Excellent program management and communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
