Accountant – Infrastructure & PPP Projects

About the role

AKTOR Equity Participations, a subsidiary of AKTOR Group of Companies, is seeking a skilled Accountant to support its portfolio of Public‑Private Partnership (PPP) and concession projects in Greece. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statutory statements, and ensuring compliance with Greek accounting and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records in line with Greek Accounting Standards and IFRS.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and management reporting packs.
• Support accounting treatment for concession and PPP projects.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger, fixed assets, bank accounts and inter‑company transactions.
• Perform MyDATA reconciliation and ensure timely invoice classification.
• Assist in preparing financial information for lenders, stakeholders and public authorities.
• Support external auditors and regulatory audits.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Contribute to improving internal controls and reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in infrastructure, construction, energy, concessions or PPP projects.
• Greek Accountant License Class A.
• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting and tax legislation.
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS reporting standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Greek.
