Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will lead the financial strategy, governance and performance of One&Only Aesthesis, a luxury resort in Athens. Reporting to the General Manager and sitting on the Executive Committee, the role ensures financial integrity, compliance and the achievement of the resort’s financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with Kerzner International and resort objectives.
• Partner with the General Manager and Executive Committee to drive commercial performance and profitability.
• Provide strategic financial guidance for business decisions and operational planning.
• Evaluate financial risks and opportunities and propose actions to improve performance.
• Promote a culture of financial accountability throughout the resort.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning processes.
• Analyse monthly results, explain variances and deliver timely reports to ownership and corporate offices.
• Monitor key business indicators and recommend corrective actions.
• Support department heads with financial planning and performance management.
• Ensure strong internal controls, compliance with local legislation, tax, accounting standards and corporate policies.
• Oversee statutory reporting and coordinate external audits.
• Maintain accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of all financial information.

Required profile

• Member of the Executive Committee and strategic business partner to the General Manager and department leaders.
• Proven ability to drive profitability, operational efficiency, sustainable growth and financial excellence across a resort operation.
