Azure Infrastructure Engineer – Athens

About the role

We are partnering with an innovative international technology company to add an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to its global technology team in Athens. This hands‑on position offers genuine ownership of the Azure cloud environment, networking, Microsoft 365, endpoint management and the broader technology estate while supporting next‑generation IoT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on performance, security and scalability.
• Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform and other automation tools.
• Maintain corporate network infrastructure, including VPNs, routing, DNS, DHCP, firewalls and VLANs.
• Support the design and implementation of IoT hardware and edge technology.
• Manage customer devices through Microsoft Intune – enrolment, policy creation and deployment.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange, Teams and SharePoint.
• Oversee a range of third‑party technology platforms and services.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking and cloud issues.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders across a globally distributed team.
• Contribute to shaping the future infrastructure strategy as the company scales.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Azure infrastructure and cloud best practices.
• Hands‑on expertise with Terraform.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, firewall configuration).
• Linux administration experience.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and Intune.
• Practical experience with Intune device enrolment and policy deployment.
• Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and endpoint environments.
• Basic scripting abilities.
• Experience using Wireshark, tcpdump and nmap.
• Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
