Waiter/Waitress – Guest Service Role

About the role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Luura you will be the front‑line host for guests in our all‑day dining venues, ensuring every dining experience reflects the brand’s high standards. You will work closely with the kitchen, bar and service team to deliver attentive, polished service in a relaxed island setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, high‑quality table service in line with outlet and brand standards.
• Welcome guests warmly, guide them through the dining experience and answer menu questions.
• Present menus, explain dishes, beverages and dietary considerations when requested.
• Take accurate orders and enter them efficiently into the POS system.
• Serve dishes with attention to timing, presentation and brand excellence.
• Proactively inquire about allergies or dietary needs to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown and checklist completion.
• Maintain table cleanliness, reset tables as needed throughout service.
• Suggestively upsell to enhance the guest experience and support revenue.
• Communicate clearly with runners, bartenders, kitchen teams and management.
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive team environment.
• Attend briefings and stay informed about reservations, events and service priorities.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
