Teacher – English Language (Ages 4-17)

About the role

The British Council is seeking enthusiastic teachers to deliver high‑quality English language lessons to learners aged 4 to 17. You will join a supportive environment that values professional growth and encourages innovative teaching practices.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons lasting three to five hours, including Saturdays.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and offer guidance when needed.
• Develop and adapt teaching materials, ensuring compliance with copyright regulations.
• Maintain administrative records such as student registers and communicate regularly with parents.
• Support break monitoring and provide cover for absent colleagues as required.
