About the role
BRS Shipbrokers, a leading global ship‑broking firm, is seeking a Tanker Operator to join its Athens office. The role involves managing tanker operations of all sizes, handling charter party documentation, and ensuring accurate voyage information.
Key responsibilities
- Handle tankers of all sizes.
- Apply charter party terms to manage voyage orders, sailing instructions and other operational items.
- Maintain the online system to ensure accuracy of voyage information.
- Coordinate communication between charterers and owners in accordance with charter party terms.
Required profile
- Preferably a Bachelor or Master degree in Shipping.
- First relevant experience as a tanker operator or similar role.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
- Fluency in English.
