Site Supervisor – HV/EHV Projects

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead the execution of high‑voltage (HV) and extra‑high‑voltage (EHV) projects across Greece and Cyprus. You will be the main on‑site contact, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of substation, grid‑modernisation and renewable‑energy integration works.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily site activities, securing resources, equipment and subcontractors to meet milestones.
• Oversee construction, installation, testing and commissioning throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all works comply with contract requirements, quality standards, schedules and HSE regulations.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, implement approved design changes and support as‑built documentation.
• Act as primary contact for customers, managing issue resolution and escalation.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and external service providers for efficient execution.
• Lead the site through customer acceptance, punch‑list completion and final handover.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce Hitachi Energy policies.

Required profile

• Degree, HND or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience in electrical construction, commissioning or site supervision, preferably on HV/EHV substation projects.
• Experience with transmission, distribution, AIS/GIS substations or similar power infrastructure.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout Greece and Cyprus and fulfil any military service obligations.
