Site Manager – Site Supervision

About the role

AFRY is seeking a Site Manager to lead the site supervision team on Owner's Engineer assignments. The role is responsible for day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring project objectives, timelines and quality standards are achieved while coordinating closely with the EPC contractor and internal AFRY teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for successful execution of site supervision works.
• Act as the single point of contact for the Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Client’s Site Manager and Contractor’s Site Manager.
• Review and enforce contractor project management documentation, progress measurement procedures, quality control processes and master schedules.
• Manage and coordinate AFRY’s site team throughout construction, installation, testing and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with the Health and Safety Manager to maintain a safe working environment and promote safety awareness.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contract terms, specifications, scope and deliverables.
• Track project budgets, progress payments, change orders and claims.
• Lead daily, weekly and monthly meetings, prepare minutes and reports, and support management review meetings and ISO 9001 audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site supervision or construction management on large engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of EPC contracts, project documentation and quality control procedures.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and contractors.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience driving safety initiatives on site.
• Experience monitoring budgets, progress payments and handling change orders.
