Senior Buyer – Indirect Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Buyer – Indirect Procurement to join our Group Procurement team. The role will manage indirect spend categories, develop sourcing strategies and drive cost‑optimization across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of category strategies for assigned indirect spend categories.
• Lead sourcing and tender processes, including market analysis, supplier evaluation and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define sourcing approaches that meet business needs.
• Manage and develop supplier relationships, monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse spend data, market trends and supplier capabilities to generate cost‑optimization and value‑creation ideas.
• Assist with supplier selection and contracting in partnership with relevant functions.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with Group policies, processes and governance.
• Contribute to procurement improvement initiatives and cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field (Master’s/MBA a plus).
• Minimum 6 years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG or a multinational environment.
• Proven experience in strategic procurement, category management and end‑to‑end sourcing.
• Experience with indirect categories such as Marketing & Media, IT & Digital or Professional Services.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and very good command of English (written and spoken).
