Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

Join Kaizen Gaming’s autonomous Agile team to design, build and maintain high‑traffic backend services that power Betano and other online entertainment products. You will collaborate with product owners, delivery leads, testers and fellow engineers to deliver competitive, high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of backend applications from conception through production.
• Design, develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in a large‑scale, highly available environment.
• Transform business requirements into robust technical systems.
• Research and adopt new technologies to solve day‑to‑day challenges.
• Ship high‑value features quickly while ensuring code quality.
• Challenge the status quo and continuously improve team processes and product architecture.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of production‑level software development experience with .NET Core.
• Strong proficiency in C# and MVC patterns.
• Experience with testing, metrics monitoring, and logging in large‑scale distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience with microservices architecture and asynchronous flows using message brokers.
• Solid understanding of web fundamentals such as HTTP and REST.
• Practical knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
