SAP Materials Management Consultant (Athens)

About the role

As a member of EY’s SAP Consulting team, you will help clients transform their business and maximize performance through SAP S/4HANA projects. The position is based in Athens and involves working in multidisciplinary teams for financial services and large corporates.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, and transformation projects.
• Analyze procurement and inventory management requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Contribute to the design and configuration of SAP MM processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with development and integration teams.
• Perform testing, data validation, user training, and go‑live support.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and consultants from other SAP workstreams.
• Contribute to proposals, demonstrations and internal knowledge‑sharing activities.

Required profile

• Excellent academic background with at least a bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics, engineering, information systems, finance or a related field.
• Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and take initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills, able to prioritize multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ideally 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in SAP MM (procurement, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inventory management, goods movements, invoice verification, material master data).
