Registered Nurse – Phlebotomy & Lab Support (Full-time)

About the role

The Microviologiki Prolipsi unit within the Mother and Woman Clinic in Palaio Faliro, Athens, is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a full‑time, morning shift. The role combines direct patient care with laboratory support, focusing on specimen collection and preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform blood sampling and phlebotomy for patients.
• Collect, label, and transport biological specimens.
• Prepare samples for analysis and ensure proper handling.
• Assist and guide patients throughout the collection process.
• Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols.
• Utilise the SLIS laboratory information system for data entry and tracking.
• Collaborate with physicians and laboratory staff to ensure accurate results.

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing or Medical Laboratory Technology with a valid professional licence.
• Previous experience in phlebotomy is highly appreciated.
• Professionalism, reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
