Quantity Surveyor (QS) for high-rise construction project

About the role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join the Contract Management Team on the Riviera Tower project, a 50‑storey, 200 m high‑rise in Ellinikon, Greece. The role will support commercial and contractual management of one of the largest residential developments in the Mediterranean, reporting to the Managing QS.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity take‑offs from drawings, BIM models and project documentation.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for procurement and commercial use.
• Issue and administer Work Orders and Variation Orders for subcontractors.
• Prepare, substantiate and submit Variation Requests to the Client in line with contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with Civil Works, Architectural Trades, Façade, MEP and specialist subcontractors to identify and quantify variations.
• Assist in the preparation, evaluation and agreement of variations and claims.
• Support monthly valuations, certifications and the maintenance of variation registers and cost records.
• Draft and review contractual correspondence, notices and formal letters to Engineers, the Client and subcontractors.
• Participate in internal and external project meetings and contribute to commercial discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• 4‑5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in quantity take‑offs, BOQ preparation and administration of work and variation orders.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage cost reporting and valuations.
• Professional proficiency in English.
