Project Manager – Solar PV Projects

About the role

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Project Manager to lead Solar PV projects within its MRES-ET division in Athens. You will be responsible for delivering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet schedule, scope, and budget requirements while supporting the company’s sustainable energy mission.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Solar PV projects end‑to‑end, from planning through commissioning.
• Coordinate technical and managerial aspects, including schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Prepare and continuously update the Project Management Plan.
• Handle contract negotiations, change orders, and EPC/sub‑contractor agreements.
• Liaise with utilities and authorities for interconnection, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and report deviations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Solar PV projects.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and resolve contractual disputes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Proficiency with MS Project.
• Knowledge of contract and project risk management.
