Production Technician

About the role

AVNA, a contract manufacturer of high‑precision medical and surgical devices, is looking for a Production Technician to operate and adjust machines according to technical drawings and specifications. The role ensures the delivery of quality parts while maintaining equipment uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Replace tools and adjust machines following established protocols to meet process requirements.
• Perform inspections, lubricate, and make adjustments to minimise unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
• Provide immediate technical assistance to diagnose and resolve production issues.
• Suggest and develop ideas for process improvements in collaboration with the team.
• Support piece production on machines, ensuring process efficiency and meeting scrap targets.

Required profile

• Technical training in Precision Mechanics.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar production role.
• Basic knowledge of Swiss lathe operations.
• Basic English proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
