Production Shift Supervisor

About the role

Demo S.A. is looking for a Production Shift Supervisor based in Kryoneri, Athens, within its pharmaceutical industry business. The position reports to the Production Manager and covers the operation of the production wing during shift hours.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of the production wing during shift hours.
• Follow and control the implementation of written procedures and cGMP instructions to ensure product quality.
• Monitor the efficient execution of the production programme.
• Create standard or ad hoc reports, including shift performance indicators.
• Take initiative or participate in actions to improve productivity and reduce production costs.
• Propose corrective and improvement actions for production processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Materials Science, Production and Management Engineering, Food Technology or a related field (AEI/TEI or equivalent); a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience; pharmaceutical industry experience is an asset.
• Ability to work on shifts, solve problems, manage multiple tasks and set priorities.
• Excellent English and excellent communication and team management skills.

Required skills

• Very good PC skills (MS Office) and ERP knowledge (SAP).
