Procurement & Cost Estimator

About the role

QPROJECT is seeking a highly skilled Procurement & Cost Estimator to support cost estimation, supplier management, and procurement operations across all stages of construction projects. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to ensure accurate budgeting, efficient sourcing, and seamless material supply for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimations for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supply agreements to achieve cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitoring performance, quality, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and commercial data for reporting and auditing.
• Oversee cost control activities and monitor implementation throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with project teams, site engineers, and management to ensure timely material supply.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company standards, and the Greek legal framework for construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction or procurement with strong exposure to site operations.
• Proven experience in cost estimation, supplier management, and procurement processes.
• Strong knowledge of the Greek legal framework for construction.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
