Procurement Assistant

About the role

The Procurement Assistant supports the purchasing function by coordinating supplier communications, managing purchase orders, and preparing reports. This role ensures smooth procurement processes and contributes to strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and cooperate with suppliers worldwide.
• Initiate, monitor, and close the purchase order cycle from issuance to receipt.
• Create, handle, and analyse a wide range of procurement reports.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure consistency in purchase order reconciliation.
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare statistics and reports related to the purchasing function.

Required profile

• Higher diploma, preferably with a financial focus.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Previous experience in a similar procurement role is appreciated.
• Desirable knowledge of SAP.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
