Optical Transmission Product Manager

About the role

Huawei Europe is looking for an Optical Transmission Product Manager to drive business development and commercial success of optical transmission solutions in the Greek market. You will act as the bridge between customers and Huawei’s technology portfolio, shaping product strategy based on market needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development plans for optical transmission projects in Greece.
• Analyse market trends, customer investment directions and translate insights into strategic actions.
• Engage with operators on technical discussions, solution design and product value presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with technical stakeholders to deepen long‑term cooperation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Strong understanding of operators’ network architectures and business needs.

Required skills

• Knowledge of DWDM, OTN, WDM and ROADM technologies.
• Familiarity with Metro, Aggregation, Backbone and DCI network architectures.
• Experience with optical transmission equipment, optical modules and cross‑connect solutions.
• Understanding of network protection mechanisms and capacity evolution.
