Medical Information Specialist (Greek, German, English)

About the role

IQVIA's Safety Operations team designs, builds and runs end-to-end safety solutions for major pharmaceutical companies and their post-market products. This Medical Information Specialist role sits at the heart of patient safety, with daily direct contact with healthcare professionals and patients. It covers medical information call centre services and processes safety and product quality information for products in respiratory, infectious diseases, immunology and inflammation, HIV and oncology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and patients, receiving and tracking medical inquiries, adverse events, product quality complaints and other calls as required.
• Receive and document incoming telephone calls, faxes or emails from various sources, including investigative sites, during regular weekday business hours.
• Keep effective team communication by giving regular feedback to local management on project metrics, out-of-scope issues and successes.
• Build a positive, collaborative team with other Lifecycle safety team members.
• Take part in training across Lifecycle safety services, working groups and process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a life science.
• Native-level Greek (C2) and German (minimum C1), plus English (minimum C1).
• Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills across Lifecycle Safety service lines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy, and strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on several projects at once and manage competing priorities.
