Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

We are establishing a state‑of‑the‑art refurbishment centre for wind turbine components in Greece. The Mechanical Project Manager will own the project from concept through to operational launch in 2028, building a greenfield industrial facility that supports the circular economy in renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the greenfield refurbishment plant, defining scope, timeline, CAPEX plan and execution roadmap.
• Coordinate facility layout, workflow design and engineering integration for blade, gearbox and generator refurbishment lines.
• Manage EPC contractors, civil works, equipment suppliers and heavy‑industrial procurement, negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery performance.
• Supervise on‑site construction activities, monitor progress, control costs and assure quality and safety.
• Oversee installation, commissioning and initial operational setup, including process definition and team onboarding.
• Track project budget, CAPEX and risks, reporting status to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 7–15 years of experience delivering large‑scale industrial, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record managing construction or industrial facility build‑outs.
• Strong exposure to engineering‑driven environments such as energy, utilities, manufacturing or construction.
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Industrial preferred); PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
