Maritime Instructor (Captain Class A)

About the role

The Maritime Training Center in Piraeus is looking for a Captain Class A to join our team as a Maritime Instructor. The role involves delivering deck‑related maritime courses to a multinational audience, using both on‑site classrooms and online platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver bridge and deck training modules in accordance with national and international standards.
• Conduct classroom sessions and virtual lessons, ensuring active participation and knowledge retention.
• Assess trainee performance, provide feedback and maintain accurate training records.
• Coordinate training schedules, resources and equipment to guarantee smooth operation of courses.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate them into the curriculum.

Required profile

• Valid Captain Class A licence.
• Permanent residence in Attica (greater Athens area).
• Fluency in English; most participants are multinational.
• Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of bridge operations and deck procedures.
• Ability to conduct effective training in both physical and virtual environments.
