Logistics & Facilities Manager

About the role

The Logistics & Facilities Manager will oversee logistics, warehouse, and facility operations at Lifting Hands International’s community centre in Serres, Greece, supporting aid distribution and community‑engagement workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee logistics and procurement for aid distribution, including warehouse inventory, receiving, and dispatch.
• Manage the maintenance and improvement of the community centre facilities, ensuring safe and functional spaces for workshops and daily operations.
• Coordinate community‑engagement projects such as carpentry, gardening, and bicycle‑repair workshops, working with volunteers and staff.
• Plan and execute maintenance shifts, supervise repairs, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Aid Distribution Program to support timely deliveries to refugee camps.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, warehouse management, or facilities maintenance, preferably in a humanitarian or NGO setting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with diverse volunteers and staff.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Greek is an advantage.
