Legal Counsel

About the role

Lioncode is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to provide day‑to‑day legal support across its IT and software services. The role involves advising management and internal teams, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, and ensuring compliance with data‑protection and intellectual‑property regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to management, sales, project, finance and technical teams.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements such as service contracts, software development agreements, NDAs, partnership and subcontracting agreements.
• Identify contractual risks and propose practical mitigation measures.
• Maintain and organise contracts, legal documents and corporate records.
• Develop and implement internal legal policies, templates and procedures.
• Advise on intellectual‑property, software licensing and ownership of deliverables.
• Support data‑protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR requirements.
• Coordinate with external lawyers and consultants when specialised advice is needed.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the business.
• Assist with corporate governance, tenders, proposals and European project legal matters.

Required profile
