Junior/Mid Industrial Maintenance Engineer – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior to Mid‑Level Maintenance Engineer to join a skilled technical team in a modern Greek food manufacturing plant. You will work hands‑on with complex processing equipment, refrigeration, boiler and HVAC systems, while gaining exposure to vendor management and engineering planning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on meat processing lines, industrial refrigeration units, boilers and HVAC/cooling equipment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary projects covering electrical, mechanical and thermal systems.
• Help develop, update and execute structured preventative maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate daily with a 5‑person technical team of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
• Gradually assume responsibility for vendor management, equipment purchasing decisions and engineering planning under the guidance of the Technical Manager.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Automation from a TEI, Vocational College, Technical Institute or EPAL.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in an industrial/factory environment (candidates with 1.5 years of strong experience are also considered).
• Experience in the Food & Beverage or processing industry is a strong asset.
• Adaptable, proactive, team‑oriented and eager to develop leadership skills.
