Junior Network Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Network Engineer to join our UniQue Networking team within the Professional Services Department. You will work on both on‑site and remote projects, helping to design, install and maintain our customers' network infrastructures while continuously expanding your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure networking devices such as routers, switches and firewalls.
• Participate in network deployment activities on‑site or remotely.
• Provide troubleshooting support for network issues.
• Create and revise project‑related documentation.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and pursue professional development.
• Develop technical specialization on specific products, solutions or technologies.
• Attend training and knowledge‑sharing events.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or a related field (MSc in Networking or Telecommunications is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and drive results.

Required skills

• Understanding of OSI model layers.
• Knowledge of routing and switching concepts.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP addressing, NAT and DHCP.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows environments.
• CCNA‑level networking and security certification (or equivalent).
