Junior IT Systems Administrator

About the role

Aksia is seeking a Junior IT Systems Administrator to provide hands‑on support for its Athens office, assisting users, troubleshooting technology issues, and learning enterprise IT management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to employees, assisting with hardware, software, network connectivity, and general IT inquiries.
• Identify and resolve technical problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment, both onsite and remotely.
• Assist in routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, system patches, and antivirus scans.
• Administer user accounts and access permissions, creating and modifying accounts as needed.
• Assist in deployment and setup of new hardware and software for employees.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets and assist in procurement activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting network‑related issues, including connectivity, Wi‑Fi configurations, and LAN setups.
• Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and issue resolutions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in IT support or junior systems administration.
• Practical experience supporting Windows 11 users and troubleshooting common issues.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions, and endpoint management.
• Exposure to Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi‑Fi.
• Experience using a ticketing or service‑desk system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
