Italian Collections Customer Advisor

About the role

Cross Border Talents is hiring an Italian Collections Customer Advisor in Athens, working a hybrid model from Athens or nearby. The role provides telephone and administrative support to the business for call and document management, and performs a basic analysis of information so that clients receive solutions in line with the company's guidelines and values.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers by telephone and email, building positive engagement and relationships while treating them fairly
• Conduct affordability assessments to understand each customer's financial situation and, where appropriate, set up reasonable repayment plans
• Explain the benefits of reaching their debt-free day, giving clear timescales and information aligned with their repayment plans
• Advise customers on the availability of free money advice
• Maintain system notes so that call records are complete, accurate, professional and a true reflection of the conversation

Required profile

• Experience in customer service; contact center experience is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and confidence with a diverse customer base
• Service-oriented, patient and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Italian native or proficient English (B2 level or above)
