IT Systems Engineer – Data Center & Cloud Solutions

About the role

Space Hellas is looking for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to design, implement and maintain complex data‑center and cloud infrastructure. You will work on virtualization, storage, backup, and orchestration projects for both on‑premise and hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Linux and Windows infrastructures, including servers, SAN/NAS, and cloud‑based storage.
• Configure, support and migrate VMware virtual environments and Azure hybrid cloud solutions.
• Administer Active Directory across on‑premise and Azure, and manage Microsoft services such as Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and Defender.
• Troubleshoot Linux services, micro‑services (Docker, Apache, Nginx, KVM) and database systems like Microsoft SQL Server.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure management using scripting tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
• Minimum three years of experience with high‑availability data‑center systems, servers (HP/Dell/Cisco) and storage technologies (FC, FCoE, iSCSI, NVMe‑oF, NAS, Object storage).
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

• Data‑center networking (VXLAN, VMware NSX/T).
