IT Business Intelligence Developer

About the role

The IT Business Intelligence Developer will design, develop and maintain end‑to‑end Power BI reports and dashboards that support Elval’s aluminium rolling business. Working closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams, you will translate requirements into performant visualisations and ensure data security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models aligned with business KPIs.
• Implement advanced DAX calculations, row‑level and object‑level security, and optimise report performance using aggregation tables, composite models and query folding.
• Manage Power BI workspace lifecycle (Dev/UAT/Prod) and deployment pipelines, and provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Migrate legacy reporting solutions (e.g., QlikSense, SAP BW) to modern Power BI implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering, with at least 1‑2 years in Microsoft Fabric production environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Power BI (advanced proficiency, DAX, Power Query, workspace administration).
• Microsoft Fabric.

• SAP BI, SAP BW, SAP HANA or SAP ERP data structures.
• Git integration and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
