IMS Services & Delivery Senior Engineer

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Senior Engineer to develop and deliver core IMS service platforms. You will work on cutting‑edge technologies to evolve product architecture, ensure high‑quality delivery and drive standardisation across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop core components of IMS service platforms using micro‑services, Kubernetes, Docker and RESTful APIs.
• Prototype and evolve product architecture with modern technologies.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, test automation and code‑quality processes.
• Govern service certification to guarantee delivery quality.
• Identify and promote reuse, standardisation, automation and platform harmonisation across the Group network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong software‑engineering mindset with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Proven experience in backend development using Java, C++ and Python, including API design and integration.
• Experience designing system and software architectures and solving complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to produce clear technical documentation.
